Zoey Mikelle

Zoey Mikelle born May 11 @ 2:47 pm. 6 lbs 13 oz 19.5 in long. And adorable!I may be crazy Anna is 3, Piper is 20 months and an infant, but look how cute they are.
She was much smaller then we thought she would be, her take home outfit is way too big.
I read a statistic that only 5% of babies are born on their due date, I have two Piper and Zoey.

Josh and Zoey are really asleep.

WARNING! Sensitive material

The girls love to help. One of their favorite things to do is wash the car. It works out, because it is so hot that they are in their swimsuits majority of the time. However....Piper sucks her left thumb and her right thumb has to be in her belly button (she calls it her beeper), she managed this look on her own. Not wanting to expose her cute booty to the neighborhood I brought her inside.
She settled for reading a book while I started dinner. While dinner was cooking we went outside to check on Anna, and found...
Her still washing the car!
Car wash anyone?

The trampoline

Anna got her trampoline! She has been wanting one for about a year now. She worked hard for it. (As you will see in the post below). I also love the trampoline, it entertains for hours.

Anna turned 3! (back in February)

The pictures are somewhat out of order. I guess if I updated our blog more I could remember how to post in order. In Josh and Anna's work on clearing the land, a small fire was started. You may not know this, but here in the South turning 3 qualifies a person to be a firefighter. Anna stood out there and filled buckets for Josh, while I kept Piper away.

We had some more help show up, the neighbors and fire trucks came to help contain the fire. I will say it was a very quick way to clear all the brush.

Josh put together Anna's present, it was suppose to be together before she woke up from her nap. About 20 min. later Piper woke up, so Josh had more help then he knew what to do with.
The finished Kitchen was worth all the work.

Moving to Mississippi

We packed up all our stuff, for the second time in six months, and move to Mississippi. This time we had extra room, Josh was a trooper and agreed to stop at TWO different outlets. And he didn't complain when I found some furniture and he had to rearrange the truck. The girls always wanted to ride in the big truck. I loved it, listening to music I like, and getting snacks for myself. It was almost like a vacation :)
Anna loves to help!

Piper unpacked boxes, before they were ready to be unpacked.
This is our backyard. Josh and Anna (she is earning a trampoline) have a lot of work to do.
This is our cute house. I love it, we have two big oak trees in the front and our first two car garage!

Where has the time gone?

I have A LOT of updating to do. These last couple of months have been crazy for us. Hope you enjoy catching up with us. (I forgot my computer post pictures backwards and I am too lazy to fix it.)Anna wanted to open a present, but we were going to a Christmas Eve party, so I told her no. She stopped being upset just long enough to look up and say, "I'm being the Grinch." The good parents we are, we just laughed.
She got over it Christmas morning.
All I can say is that Piper is adorable!
Anyone notice my pregnancy glow! We found out the day after Christmas, that we are having a third little girl!
Christmas Eve. Our tree was the ugliest tree. Josh was gone, so a friend helped us get it. A few high lights: there is an orange extension cord running up the back; the top and bottom half of the tree blink (not the middle); ornaments continued to be moved higher; it needed water every 5 or 6 days (which tells me the thing was not very fresh). Here's to next year!
In december I turned 30!

My sister, Jill, made these adorable skirts for my girls. I wanted to get a picture before Piper out grew hers. It was one of those mornings when Josh and I were trying to get everyone and everything together so we could get out the door.We drove for an hour to go shopping. First stop REI. We got out and let the girls play on the bikes, and run around a little. While Josh checked out, Anna and Piper were playing in a display tent. While I watched them, I noticed something strange. I immediately pulled Anna out of the tent only to discover I was right. Neither Josh nor I put underwear on our two year old. After laughing for awhile, we talked to Anna about if Mommy or Daddy forget to put underwear on, brush your teeth or other daily things you need to tell us.
The girls and I went to Boise for Thanksgiving. Josh had to work :(
But we had a blast! Everyone in my family, but Jill could make it. We eat food all weekend, went to Rafiki and celebrated Christmas. The time spent with family and friends was great, however I don't know if I will travel cross country by myself with my kids again. That story is for another time.

Anna's thumb surgery

I put Anna in swim lessons this past summer. Randomly through her lessons I would give her thumbs up, she would do it back. As the lessons went on, I noticed that her thumbs didn't straighten all the way. I thought it was adorable and put no more effort into the matter.A couple months later, the responsible parent noticed her thumbs. I replied with, "I know, it is so cute." Josh looked at me funny and said, "I don't think they should look like that." So two months later we were off to surgery. Anna had trigger thumb, it is common and a quick surgery.
You may think she is scared, not the case. She refused to talk to anyone, including me or say anything because we made her take off her Ariel pajamas.
The next day she was as happy as could be. It might have been because she got to watch movies all day. She called her bandages her wrappers, and she wanted them off for the first two days.
Josh cut them off a week later. This was great for me, because I had to keep them dry and clean. Anna's second favorite thing to do is play with water.
The stitches are healing and she is doing great, she never had any pain, and never really complained about them at all.

Halloween and Pumpkin Patch

Anna was Ariel for halloween, I had gotten my money worth out of this costume before halloween.Piper was our cute little Candy Corn!
Anna loved trick or treating, she ran from house to house, oddly though she never asked to eat her candy. Piper got her candy and immediantly put it in her mouth.
The pumpkin patch we went to had a ton of things for the kids to do. They are in a train, there was bounce houses, swings, slides, little bike races, hay rides. We had a lot of fun.
We did not force her to pull the wagon, she insisted!

Piper tried so hard to pick up every pumpkin, it was really funny.

Anna finally found her perfect pumpkin. I asked her if she wanted to carve it, or get stickers and make a funny face. She told me "No mom, I want to draw with chalk." That worked for me, no mess and no money spent.
