Quick trip to Vegas!!!

We took a quick trip to vegas, to see my mom, wyatt, allison, and her two cute kids.  Everyone loves Grandma!!!Smart girls!!!  Piper and Reese are only 3 months apart.  Kai and Anna are 13 months apart, but they are best buds!
Uncle Wyatt is the favorite (sorry everyone else).  He is single, with a great job, and lets the kids have as much sugar as they want.  
We had lunch at the Rainforest Cafe, it is one of my favorites, Anna loves it, she always wants to pet the animals!
Then we had to say good-bye to California.  Although expensive to live there, we LOVED IT!  After packing the Penski we went to the beach, our favorite place!

Sea World

We took one last trip to sea world.  Anna loved it, she wanted to swim with the sting rays, with a lot of convincing she decided touching them was better than nothing.Anna is really good about playing with something in a store then putting it back and saying "bye" to it.  We get funny looks a lot when Anna talks to merchandise, but we leave the store, not spending any money and with a happy child.  I'll take the looks.
Piper loves everything we do!  Although she is tired of being told she is such a cute boy. Ha ha

Family Vacation

We went to Disneyland for three days!!!  We took over 300 pictures and had a blast!  Anna could go on almost all the rides, topping the list were the carousel, tea cups, and matterhorn.  She wanted to do everything.  We saw Mickey Mouse each day, went to breakfast with Lilo and Stich, had a Princess dinner, and ate lots of good food.  Piper slept most of day one, she liked all the lights!  We had a great time, it really is the Happiest Place on Earth!

Happy Easter

Happy Easter.  their dresses are really cute, but this was the best picture I could get from a 2yr. old and 7 month old, when they have candy right in front of them.Piper and Landon were so good, just sitting there eating eggs.  Landon is our nephew (josh's brother Jeremiah and Jessica's youngest)

More easter

My best friend's family has an easter picnic every year, we were lucky enough to be invited.My best friend, Tawnya's, kids Jenessa and Jordan.  Jordan and Anna are the same age.  Tawnya has two more girls.  

My other best friend, Amber, her little sister Laura and Laura's little boy Ian.  Tawnya's youngets, Haily, Ian and Piper are all the same age.Anna is slow at easter egg hunting, but she loves it.

Piper is six months

Piper is 28.5 in and 20 pounds.  She has rolly polly legs that are really cute.  She is ticklish and has a great laugh to compliment her adorable smile.She tries to escape nap time.  I think she and Anna are in cahoots with this one.
She loves to eat food!  She will grab the spoon and pull it into her mouth, she is not a patient eater.  She loves to stick her tongue out.  I think it is to help Anna when she feeds her, she is saying here is my mouth, put the food here.  (Anna usually get it in her nose, eye, sometimes her ear)
This was taken when we got home from her shots.  She is a tough cookie.  Piper has to be with Anna around.  She will be sitting playing and Anna will come out of nowhere and plow her over and start wrestling.  Sometimes Piper doesn't mind.  One day I did tell Anna if she touched Piper again she was going to bed and I would take away all her babies for the night.  Poor Piper just needed a break.

Family!

My sister Allison had a beautiful baby girl, Reese, on Christmas day.  Her husband, Troy, blessed her a couple weeks ago.  Anna, Piper and I were able to do, and spend a week in Utah with them.
I don't know why my computer keeps posting pictures backward, anyway.  This is Rhett holding Reese (left) and Piper.  Rhett has never been one to run up and want to hold the babies, you would never know from this picture!
Kai and Anna are one year apart and two states away,  but you would never know, they were buddies the entire time.  Even after little sleep, constant entertainment, and tired Mommies they just kept going.
My other sister Jill came into Salt Lake City for the day.  Her boys came Rhett, and Caden.  The kids had a blast.  Anna has twin babies, the one she is holding and the other one wears a blue outfit. Kai played with it the entire time we were there.  All of Anna's babies are named Piper, except the blue one.  For some reason she named the blue one Uncle Dean (Rhett and Caden's dad).  She has seen Uncle Dean a hand full of times, but apparently loves him very much.

I'm two

I don't know why the pictures post backwards, but here you go.  Anna is two!  I was really sick the day of her birthday, so we celebrated the next day, she didn't know the difference.She loves princesses, like every little girl.  So I made her a blanket, which she calls a balnkblank.

We had a birthday party for her, I found her this cute dress for $6 and she had to wear rain boots with it.  Oh well, it was her party.

She is potty trained, protests nap time and leaving the library.  Likes to help and is very compassionate.   We love Anna and are excited for another year!

Anna's first kiss

This is Joey!  Anna's best friend,he lives just a couple doors down so they play together often.This picture was taken in late November.  It was too cold to go to the beach.  But not to cold to play in buckets of water.  Joey didn't like wearing wet cloths, and he claimed his bucket by using it as a restroom.
This was at Balboa park.  On tuesdays residents get into the museums for free!  The science museum is their favorite.
And it happened.  We had been watching Joey and when it was time for him to go home.  His dad told him to say good-bye.  He took that opportunity to lean in and give Anna a little kiss.  It was the cutest thing.  All you parents are hoping that for your kids first kiss that both sets of parents are standing right there watching. 
Josh had a good talk with Joey about where he is going in life, and what his intentions are with Anna.  Joey is a great friend!

The last of christmas

By special request here is a better picture of my beautiful table.  It is square and seats 8.  I love it!  Anna also loves it, because she can walk under it, get into the middle and then I can't reach her.  She thinks it is a great game!This is Anna's last gift, she couldn't play in it on Christmas because it was raining.  So much for sunny california.  It is a 12 x 12 foot jump house.

It rained Christmas day and Anna doesn't know that she is missing out on anything.  Josh however was another story.  He sat at the window like a little kid, and would turn to me with a big smile and say, I think is going to stop raining the clouds are moving.  I would just smile and try not to discourage him.  However when he finally realized we weren't going to be able to set up the jump house he was almost in tears.  Luckily our 3 weeks of winter are over and we can play in the jump house everyday!
